Job Title: QA Engineer (Manual &amp; Automation)Location: Mumbai (Remote/Hybrid) Experience: 2&ndash;4 years Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleWe are building a high-velocity hyperlocal delivery platform with real-time order allocation, routing, pricing engine, merchant dashboards, and delivery partner apps. We&rsquo;re looking for a QA Engineer who can ensure the platform is reliable, scalable, and performs consistently across mobile + web.You will work closely with product, engineering, and operations to identify bugs early, improve release quality, and automate critical workflow tests.Key ResponsibilitiesManual QA<ul><li>Test mobile apps (Android/iOS) for merchants, customers, and delivery partners.</li><li>Test key flows: order creation, assignment, routing, tracking, payments, COD workflows, settlement, pricing calculations.</li><li>Perform functional, smoke, regression, system, and UAT testing.</li><li>Validate real-time features: GPS accuracy, order state transitions, push notifications.</li><li>Verify integrations: maps, payment gateways, SMS providers, KYC, CRM, webhooks.</li><li>Document test cases, test scenarios, bug reports in tools like Jira, ClickUp, or Linear.</li><li>Identify inconsistent behaviors under peak load or low-network conditions.</li><li>Coordinate with developers for debugging and reproducing issues.</li></ul>Automation QA<ul><li>Build and maintain automation test suites for mobile and web.</li><li>Automate regression test cases for order flow, pricing logic, dashboard flows.</li><li>Create API automation for routing engine, pricing engine, order lifecycle APIs.</li><li>Implement end-to-end scripts using Selenium, Appium, Playwright, or similar tools.</li><li>Set up CI/CD automated test pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).</li><li>Ensure automated tests run on each build and improve test coverage.</li><li>Build mocks for location services, webhooks, and push notifications.</li></ul>Required SkillsTechnical Skills<ul><li>Strong in manual testing of mobile + web applications.</li><li>Experience with automation tools:</li><li>Selenium / Playwright (Web)</li><li>Appium (Mobile)</li><li>Postman / RestAssured for APIs</li><li>Solid understanding of client-server architecture.</li><li>Understanding of maps/GPS testing in mobile apps.</li><li>Familiarity with SQL for data validation.</li><li>Experience in bug tracking tools (Jira, ClickUp, Linear).</li><li>Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.</li></ul>Domain Skills (Hyperlocal Delivery &ndash; Preferred)<ul><li>Understanding of logistics or delivery workflows.</li><li>Knowledge of order lifecycle &amp; statuses.</li><li>Awareness of dynamic pricing, surge, distance calculations.</li><li>Understanding of SLA-based deliveries and routing.</li><li>Experience testing live location, navigation, trip tracking.</li></ul>Soft Skills<ul><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.</li><li>Ability to work in fast-paced startup environments.</li><li>Good communication skills to collaborate with engineering and operations.</li><li>Ownership and attention to detail.</li></ul>Good to Have<ul><li>Experience in testing high-scale apps (delivery, mobility, ecommerce).</li><li>Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust).</li><li>Exposure to microservices architecture.</li><li>Ability to design end-to-end test frameworks.</li><li>Basic scripting knowledge (Python/Java/JS).</li></ul>What You'll Work On<ul><li>Merchant onboarding &rarr; Order creation &rarr; Assignments &rarr; Delivery tracking.</li><li>Delivery partner workflow: login, KYC, accept/decline, navigation.</li><li>Pricing engine validation: distance calculation, base fare, surcharges.</li><li>Ops dashboard: manual reassign, live agent tracking, order issue handling.</li><li>Peak-time load and failover scenarios.</li></ul>Interested Candidates can send their updated Resume along with below mentioned information:Current CTC:If selected how soon you can join?Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;200,000.00 - &#8377;400,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Work from home</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Mobile App Testing: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: Remote
