This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your skills make a meaningful difference in patients&rsquo; lives every day.Duties<ul><li>Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to maintain optimal oral health.</li><li>Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical history, vital signs, and current dental conditions to develop personalized care plans.</li><li>Assist the dentist during various procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure efficiency and comfort.</li><li>Take and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays while maintaining proper aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.</li><li>Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong dental health.</li><li>Review and update medical records accurately within electronic medical record (EMR) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Support the dental team with chairside assisting, documentation review, and maintaining a sterile environment aligned with infection control standards.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Valid licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current state certification or licensing requirements.</li><li>Proven experience in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry settings, with familiarity in pediatric dentistry preferred.</li><li>Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for documentation and record keeping.</li><li>Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical coding practices.</li><li>Experience in infection control procedures, aseptic technique, and maintaining a sterile clinical environment.</li><li>Ability to perform patient care tasks including vital signs measurement, medical imaging, and patient assessment confidently.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively and collaborate seamlessly with the dental team.
