Overview Join our dynamic team as a Wingstop Cashier, where you'll be the friendly face greeting customers and ensuring they have an exceptional dining experience. This role combines customer service, food handling, and cashier responsibilities in a fast-paced, quick service environment. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and passionate about the food industry, with a focus on delivering excellent service in a clean and safe setting.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet customers promptly and courteously, creating a welcoming atmosphere</li><li>Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS.</li><li>Handle cash transactions efficiently and responsibly, including cash handling and basic math calculations</li><li>Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities</li><li>Prepare food items following safety and sanitation standards, including food safety and proper food handling procedures</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, counters, and kitchen stations through bussing and sanitation practices</li><li>Assist with food preparation tasks when necessary, supporting kitchen staff with basic culinary duties</li><li>Ensure compliance with health regulations and sanitation standards to uphold food safety protocols</li><li>Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly without compromising quality</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous experience in food service or quick service &amp; fast food restaurant environments is preferred</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus</li><li>Experience in cashiering, serving, or retail math enhances performance in this role</li><li>Background in food preparation, culinary activities, or restaurant experience is advantageous</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently</li><li>Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures</li><li>Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting</li></ul>This position offers an engaging work environment where teamwork and excellent service are valued.
