Wingstop Cashier

Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Wingstop Cashier, where you'll be the friendly face greeting customers and ensuring they have an exceptional dining experience. This role combines customer service, food handling, and cashier responsibilities in a fast-paced, quick service environment. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and passionate about the food industry, with a focus on delivering excellent service in a clean and safe setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously, creating a welcoming atmosphere
• Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently and responsibly, including cash handling and basic math calculations
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Prepare food items following safety and sanitation standards, including food safety and proper food handling procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, counters, and kitchen stations through bussing and sanitation practices
• Assist with food preparation tasks when necessary, supporting kitchen staff with basic culinary duties
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and sanitation standards to uphold food safety protocols
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly without compromising quality

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Experience in cashiering, serving, or retail math enhances performance in this role
• Background in food preparation, culinary activities, or restaurant experience is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
