Temporary Litigation Attorney

Paralegal Location: Philadelphia, PA Schedule: Full-Time | Hybrid (3 Days In Office)Trustpoint.One has an immediate opening with a well-established defense litigation practice in Philadelphia for a Paralegal. This role provides comprehensive administrative and litigation support to attorneys handling matters nationwide, including commercial litigation, construction defect claims, insurance coverage, and liquor liability matters.Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide administrative and paralegal support to attorneys</li><li>Prepare standard correspondence, memoranda, and legal documents</li><li>Electronically file pleadings and other documents with Pennsylvania courts</li><li>Monitor incoming court filings and case activity</li><li>Maintain and manage attorney calendars</li><li>Monitor litigation deadlines and ensure compliance with court schedules</li><li>Communicate with opposing counsel, clients, witnesses, and experts</li><li>Conduct social media, internet, and docket research</li><li>Locate and develop case-relevant information</li><li>Prepare and serve subpoenas and authorizations for medical, employment, and insurance records</li><li>Summarize medical records into clear and detailed chronologies for attorney use</li><li>Schedule depositions and issue subpoenas for testimony</li><li>Retain experts and prepare expert materials and packages</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum of 2&ndash;3 years of paralegal experience, preferably in litigation</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to anticipate attorney needs and work proactively</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines</li><li>High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word), Adobe, and document management systems</li><li>Proficiency with the Pennsylvania Court e-filing system</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Base Salary: $72,000&ndash;$80,000</li><li>Annual Bonuses: $1,500&ndash;$5,000</li><li>Health Benefits: Begin the first of the month following hire; employer pays 90% of health insurance premiums</li><li>Paid Time Off: 126 hours annually</li><li>Work Schedule: Hybrid &mdash; 3 days in office, 2 days remote</li></ul>Trustpoint.One provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
