This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in landscape maintenance while contributing to vibrant outdoor environments.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to promote healthy turf growth.</li><li>Use hand tools and power tools to carry out landscape maintenance activities including planting, pruning, and weed control.</li><li>Operate heavy machinery such as excavators and snow plows when necessary for site preparation or seasonal cleanup.</li><li>Maintain trees and shrubbery through trimming, pruning, and tree care techniques to enhance safety and aesthetics.</li><li>Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of lawns and gardens.</li><li>Execute hardscape projects like installing pathways, patios, or retaining walls with precision and safety.</li><li>Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.</li><li>Drive truck and trailer DOT med card required and clean driving record.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various landscaping machinery and hand tools effectively.</li><li>Extensive experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices.</li><li>Knowledge of landscaping techniques including hardscape installation and tree trimming.</li><li>Familiarity with construction principles related to outdoor projects such as pathways or retaining walls.</li><li>Ability to handle power tools safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.</li><li>Experience with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting for optimal water management.</li><li>Skilled in snow plowing operations during winter months for seasonal property upkeep.
