Responsibilities

• Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to promote healthy turf growth.
• Use hand tools and power tools to carry out landscape maintenance activities including planting, pruning, and weed control.
• Operate heavy machinery such as excavators and snow plows when necessary for site preparation or seasonal cleanup.
• Maintain trees and shrubbery through trimming, pruning, and tree care techniques to enhance safety and aesthetics.
• Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of lawns and gardens.
• Execute hardscape projects like installing pathways, patios, or retaining walls with precision and safety.
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
• Drive truck and trailer DOT med card required and clean driving record.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various landscaping machinery and hand tools effectively.
• Extensive experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices.
• Knowledge of landscaping techniques including hardscape installation and tree trimming.
• Familiarity with construction principles related to outdoor projects such as pathways or retaining walls.
• Ability to handle power tools safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Experience with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting for optimal water management.
• Skilled in snow plowing operations during winter months for seasonal property upkeep.
