The Opportunity The successful candidate will take a key role within the regional team, working closely with senior leadership to deliver strategic and operational project management services. You will be responsible for leading projects from business case development through to successful delivery, ensuring governance, control, and client satisfaction at every stage. You'll also play a pivotal part in supporting the development of the Project Management Office (PMO) function, helping to embed best practice, improve reporting and processes, and shape the future of project delivery within the business. Key Responsibilities <ul> <li>Lead the development of business cases, including feasibility, options appraisal, and stakeholder engagement</li> <li>Manage and deliver projects from inception through to completion, ensuring adherence to programme, budget, and quality standards</li> <li>Oversee governance and assurance activities within the Project Management Office (PMO)</li> <li>Prepare and present reports to senior stakeholders, boards, and external partners</li> <li>Support junior project managers and promote knowledge-sharing across the team</li> <li>Contribute to business development through client relationship management and proposal support</li> </ul> About You <ul> <li>Proven experience as a Project Manager or Associate Project Manager within the built environment</li> <li>Strong background in business case development and PMO management</li> <li>Excellent understanding of project governance, controls, and reporting frameworks</li> <li>Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills</li> <li>Degree-qualified, ideally with APM, Prince2, or equivalent project management certification</li> <li>Self-motivated, collaborative, and driven to progress into a leadership role</li> </ul> What's on Offer <ul> <li>Competitive salary: £65,000 - £80,000 (DOE)</li> <li>Hybrid and flexible working arrangements</li> <li>Clear pathway to Director level within a growing consultancy</li> <li>Supportive and collaborative team culture</li> <li>Exposure to landmark, city-shaping projects across the North West</li> </ul> If you're an experienced Project Manager ready to take the next step into an Associate position - or an established Associate seeking more autonomy, visibility, and progression - we'd love to hear from you.
