Job Description: We are a growing property management company currently managing 170 units, with plans to expand to 200 units in the near future. We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to support our financial operations. This is a part-time position with strong potential to transition into a full-time role as the company continues to grow.The ideal candidate is experienced in property management accounting, comfortable working independently, and familiar with modern accounting and property management software.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and receivable</li><li>Reconcile bank accounts and financial statements</li><li>Maintain accurate financial records and reports</li><li>Assist with monthly and year-end closing processes</li><li>Track rent payments, expenses, and owner distributions</li><li>Ensure data accuracy across accounting and property management platforms</li></ul>Software &amp; Tools:<ul><li>Sage 50 Accounting</li><li>AppFolio</li><li>Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Proven bookkeeping or accounting experience (property management experience preferred)</li><li>Proficiency in Sage 50 and/or similar accounting software</li><li>Experience with AppFolio is a strong plus</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and meet deadlines</li><li>Strong communication skills</li></ul>Work Structure:<ul><li>Primarily remote</li><li>Must be local to the Phoenix metro area for occasional in-person meetings (a few times per month)</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Competitive hourly pay based on experience</li><li>Opportunity for growth into a full-time position with a scaling company</li></ul>Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Work from home</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Mesa, AZ 85201
