Job Summary Join our vibrant caf&eacute; team as a dynamic and energetic Barista/Bartender! In this role, you will craft exceptional coffee beverages and serve a variety of drinks and light food items with enthusiasm and professionalism. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in the food and beverage industry while working with a passionate team.Duties<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair</li><li>Operate Square POS to process orders accurately and efficiently</li><li>Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic retail math to ensure correct transactions</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and beverage stations</li><li>Assist with food handling, food safety procedures, and basic food preparation tasks as needed</li><li>Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Previous barista experience with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage presentation</li><li>Experience working as a bartender or in food service environments preferred</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests</li><li>Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours</li><li>Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations</li><li>Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling, and proper sanitation practices in the caf&eacute; or retail setting</li><li>Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and maintain a lively, energetic attitude</li></ul>Embark on an exciting journey in the food industry where your passion for coffee and service excellence can shine!
