This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to improving oral health and patient experience.Duties<ul><li>Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental instruments, setting up necessary equipment, and ensuring all materials are ready for procedures.</li><li>Assist dentists chairside during a variety of treatments including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.</li><li>Take and develop dental X-rays and other medical imaging to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.</li><li>Manage patient records using Open Dental Patient Management Software to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.</li><li>Educate patients on oral health care, post-treatment instructions, and preventive practices while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies.</li><li>Perform vital signs measurement and review medical histories to support comprehensive patient care.</li><li>Follow infection prevention management protocols including dental sterilization procedures, aseptic techniques, and infection control standards aligned with healthcare regulations.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant with current licensure or registration as required by local regulations.</li><li>Proven experience in dental assisting within a general dentistry or specialty setting such as pediatric dentistry or oral surgery.</li><li>Proficiency with dental software systems including Open Dental; familiarity with patient management software is a plus.</li><li>Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, dental equipment operation, and medical documentation standards.</li><li>Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely following HIPAA guidelines and radiation safety protocols.</li><li>Strong understanding of infection prevention management, aseptic techniques, and dental sterilization procedures.</li><li>Excellent communication skills for effective patient management and teamwork in a four-handed dentistry environment.</li><li>Knowledge of healthcare infection control standards and medical terminology related to dentistry.</li></ul>Join us to make a difference in patients' lives through compassionate care while advancing your career in a vibrant, supportive environment dedicated to excellence!Pay: $24.00 - $40.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Free parking</li><li>Opportunities for advancement</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Paid training</li><li>Professional development assistance</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
