Founded in 2009, Uber provides location-based real-time public transport and ride sharing services. Uber aims to help the user by helping them find a “nearby” Uber car according to both the passenger’s and the driver’s location. Uber initially started in the ride-hailing market, and it has now spanned its way into the food delivery services, micro-mobility systems (with bikes and scooters), and peer-to-peer ride systems.
Uber is launching a new luxury e-vehicle category in Chicago by October 2022, there is a need to gain market share and grow rapidly. The marketing team of Uber is responsible for customer acquisition and given that the market potential is high, they have been provided with the objective of increasing brand awareness and acquiring customers by implementing low-cost and high-impact strategies.
