Job Summary and Qualifications</h5>
The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as &ldquo;Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.&rdquo; The RN serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers and models a commitment to the organization&rsquo;s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.
<ul><li>Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.</li><li>
Teaches patients/families/caregivers about patient medical condition, patient status, treatment plan, medications and possible side effects, and follow-up measures. Translates complex medical terminology to ensure complete understanding.</li><li>
Teaches patients/families/caregivers about any non-medicinal follow-up measures, such as healthy diet and exercise, disease prevention, and/or other lifestyle changes. Prepares patients and families/caregivers for future self-management.</li><li>
Manages evidence-based practices and continuous process improvement initiatives to meet and exceed quality measures and enhance the exceptional care provided to patients.</li><li>
Manages the quality of care by collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver a holistic patient treatment plan that promotes and supports recovery.</li></ul><h6 class="jobSectionHeader">
What qualifications you will need:</h6><ul><li>
Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.</li><li>
1+ years of RN experience in an acute care environment preferred</li><li>
Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree, BSN is preferred</li><li>
NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start</li><li>
Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of start</li><li>
American Heart Association ACLS Provider issued card required within 6 months of employment start date</li><li>
PALS Pediatric Adv Life Support, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date</li></ul>

Job Summary and Qualifications</h5>
The role of the Division Assistant Vice President of Practice Operations serves the second in command and chief operations officer in PSG&rsquo;s largest divisions. The position serves as the market representative for the Division leadership, holding providers accountable to the contracted terms and ensuring that the interest of HCA Healthcare and the Division are met. The position will communicate regularly (monthly MOR and PRN) with the Group Vice President, Division CFO and the Divisions&rsquo; hospitals&rsquo; CEOs. This position monitors the activities and operations of all the programs components to ensure the programs meet the Division&rsquo;s goals of improved quality, efficiency, volume, and patient / physician satisfaction.
What you will do in this role:<ul><li>
You will report to the North Florida Division Vice President of Practice Operations</li><li>
You will have operational oversight of the North Central Florida portfolio, which consists of 265+ providers and 65 multi-specialty practice locations supporting 10 HCA Health hospitals</li><li>
You will have five direct reports</li><li>
You will assist the in providing leadership, direction, and management for all aspects of physician operations</li><li>
You will ensure strategic initiatives, regulatory and HCA policies and procedures are implemented efficiently and effectively in all clinics</li><li>
You will oversee the strategic direction to significant numbers of physicians and advanced practice providers often in geographically isolated areas and submarkets</li><li>
You will work effectively with DVP, serving as liaison to hospital CEOs and Division Leadership to meet the needs of the organization and HCA Healthcare</li><li>
You will help develop and drive the strategic direction of the markets in conjunction with the Division and the hospital CEOs</li><li>
You will oversee the overall responsibility for the functions of the practices in the assigned markets to ensure maximum, utilization of resources and the efficient delivery of services</li><li>
You will work effectively with HCA Physician Services management and support teams and the physician recruiting function of HCA Physician Services and hospital liaisons to support the placement of qualified physicians in employed practices</li><li>
You will participate in annual budgeting process including analysis of staffing levels and recommends actions to eliminate negative variance</li><li>
You will oversee and manage all employed physicians and practices in accordance with HCAPS standards and policies ensuring that each practice meets and/or exceeds their financial targets</li><li>
You will be responsible for implementing and tracking all quality initiatives in conjunction with HCA and other regulatory standards, to include facilitation of quarterly quality reviews and providing for problem resolutions</li><li>
You will develop and implement volume growth initiatives and performance metrics. Works effectively with sales and marketing to enhance our growth initiatives</li><li>
You will perform other duties as assigned</li></ul>
What qualifications you will need:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree business administration, healthcare administration or related field required</li><li>
Master's degree in business administration, healthcare administration or related field preferred</li><li>
5+ years experience in practice management</li><li>
Experience in managing multiple physician practices across a wide geographic area</li></ul>
