We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Driver Manager to oversee driver relations, retention, and performance. This person will serve as the main point of contact for company drivers&mdash;ensuring each driver receives consistent support, communication, and recognition, while maintaining alignment with company standards and safety policies.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with company drivers.</li><li>Serve as the main liaison between drivers and all internal departments (dispatch, safety, HR, accounting).</li><li>Monitor driver satisfaction, address concerns promptly, and take proactive steps to improve retention.</li><li>Conduct regular check-ins with drivers regarding pay, miles, home time, and operational support.</li><li>Track driver performance metrics and collaborate with dispatch and safety to resolve performance or compliance issues.</li><li>Support new driver onboarding and orientation to ensure smooth integration into the company.</li><li>Identify driver concerns and escalate issues appropriately while promoting a positive company culture.</li><li>Assist with driver recognition, reward, and performance improvement programs.</li><li>Maintain accurate and organized records of driver interactions and retention data.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Minimum 2&ndash;3 years of experience in driver management, dispatch, or HR within a trucking company.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills&mdash;professional, empathetic, and solution-oriented.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.</li><li>Understanding of OTR and flatbed operations preferred.</li><li>Must work on-site in Elgin, IL (8 AM &ndash; 5 PM).</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
