You&rsquo;ll play a hands-on role in accounts payable, month-end close, and financial reporting, with exposure to leadership and cross-functional projects. Your contributions will have immediate impact.Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable<ul><li>Support full-cycle AP, including invoice processing, GL coding, and 3-way matching</li><li>Manage vendor onboarding (W-9s, documentation) and maintain vendor records</li><li>Process weekly payments (ACH, wire, checks)</li><li>Reconcile vendor statements, credit cards, and employee expenses</li><li>Assist with 1099 preparation and month-end AP close (accruals, reporting)</li></ul>Month-End Close &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Support month-end close, including accruals and account reconciliations</li><li>Maintain schedules and supporting documentation</li><li>Assist with financial reports, budget vs. actual analysis, and KPI reporting</li><li>Support audits, tax filings, and year-end reporting</li></ul>Controls &amp; Process Improvement<ul><li>Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures</li><li>Maintain process and control documentation</li><li>Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements</li></ul>Technical &amp; Analytical<ul><li>Use advanced Excel (PivotTables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH, data cleaning)</li><li>Leverage accounting systems and reporting tools to improve accuracy and efficiency</li></ul>Cross-Functional Support<ul><li>Partner with leadership on projects and ad hoc requests</li><li>Track deliverables and coordinate cross-functional communication</li><li>Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism.</li></ul>QualificationsRequired:<ul><li>Associate or bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)</li><li>1&ndash;3 years of accounting or relevant experience</li><li>Strong Excel skills required (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH, Conditional Formatting with Formulas and data cleaning techniques including Remove Duplicates and Text-to-Columns)</li><li>High attention to detail and strong organizational skills</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to work independently</li></ul>Preferred (not required):<ul><li>Experience with accounting systems</li><li>Experience in benefits, insurance, or financial services</li></ul>What You&rsquo;ll Love About Working at Union One <ul><li>A people-first culture built on trust, transparency, and collaboration</li><li>Opportunity to take ownership of key accounting processes early in your career</li><li>Exposure to leadership and involvement in cross-functional projects</li><li>Clear path to grow into broader accounting and finance responsibilities</li><li>Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits</li><li>A modern, flexible work environment that supports balance and belonging</li></ul>Equal Employment OpportunityUnion One is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
