 Facilities Engineer (Mechanical)
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Job Description:
 
 
 
 &middot; Lead and supervise the maintenance team responsible for HVAC systems, electrical equipment, firefighting and fire alarm systems, plumbing, and carpentry activities.
 
 
 &middot; Plan, coordinate, and manage the operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical utilities, including chillers, air handling units, A/C systems, heaters, diesel generators, and UPS systems.
 
 
 &middot; Oversee the implementation of periodic, preventive, and corrective maintenance plans.
 
 
 &middot; Monitor electrical and chilled water consumption to ensure alignment with budget; investigate and report on any variances or overages.
 
 
 &middot; Ensure timely availability of spare parts, tools, and safety equipment required for maintenance operations.
 
 
 &middot; Promote and enforce a strong safety culture; ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and standards.
 
 
 &middot; Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all maintenance activities.
 
 
 &middot; Coordinate and supervise installation and maintenance work conducted by contractors and external vendors, including development, renovation, and replacement projects.
 
 
 &middot; Conduct regular audits to ensure operational continuity and compliance with client agreements, and identify areas for improvement.
 
 
 &middot; Assist in preparing budgets for additional/extra works as needed.
 
 
 &middot; Generate and submit monthly reports on trouble tickets and preventive maintenance activities.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Job Requirements:
 
 
 
 &middot; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in mechanical engineering.
 
 
 &middot; From 3 to 5 years of experience in facility management or similar projects.
 
 
 &middot; Strong technical background in mechanical and MEP systems.
 
 
 &middot; Proven leadership and team management skills.
 
 
 &middot; Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
 
 
 &middot; Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
 
 
 &middot; Strong sense of urgency and ability to respond quickly to complex issues.
 
 
 &middot; Location: New Cairo, Egypt
 
 
 &middot; Nationality: Egyptians Only.
