Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate different routes while adhering to delivery schedules. A successful Truck Driver will have experience with various types of vehicles, including tankers and refrigerated trailers.Responsibilities<ul><li>Operate trucks in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.</li><li>Safely load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of materials.</li><li>Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption.</li><li>Navigate assigned routes efficiently while managing time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.</li><li>Communicate with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered during transit.</li><li>Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while on the road.</li><li>Assist in the maintenance of the truck, including routine checks on oil, brakes, tires, and other essential systems.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.</li><li>Experience with manual transmission vehicles is preffered.</li><li>Previous experience as a delivery driver or in route driving is advantageous.</li><li>Knowledge of freight handling procedures and regulations related to tanker transport is beneficial.</li><li>Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading freight.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the road.</li><li>Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.</li></ul>Join our team as a Truck Driver where you can contribute your expertise while enjoying a fulfilling career in transportation!Job Type: Full-timePay: $29.00 - $32.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
