Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate different routes while adhering to delivery schedules. A successful Truck Driver will have experience with various types of vehicles, including tankers and refrigerated trailers.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Safely load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of materials.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption.
• Navigate assigned routes efficiently while managing time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
• Communicate with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered during transit.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while on the road.
• Assist in the maintenance of the truck, including routine checks on oil, brakes, tires, and other essential systems.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
• Experience with manual transmission vehicles is preffered.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in route driving is advantageous.
• Knowledge of freight handling procedures and regulations related to tanker transport is beneficial.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading freight.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the road.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
