 Role Description
 
 
 
 
 We&rsquo;re seeking a Quality Inspector with machining or fabrication inspection experience to support a high‑mix, fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on dimensional inspection, full PPAP layouts, GD&amp;T interpretation, and accurate documentation. Candidates must have hands‑on experience performing complete PPAP submissions and full dimensional layouts.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Perform dimensional inspections for PPAP (layouts, feature checks, bubble prints)
 </li>
 <li>
 Inspect machined and fabricated parts to print, including GD&amp;T and weld symbols
 </li>
 <li>
 Verify incoming, in‑process, and final parts meet customer and print requirements
 </li>
 <li>
 Document nonconformances and support corrective actions
 </li>
 <li>
 Work with production, machining, and fabrication teams to resolve issues
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate, audit‑ready quality records
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Required Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Machining or fabrication inspection experience
 </li>
 <li>
 PPAP documentation and dimensional reporting experience
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to read complex blueprints and GD&amp;T
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong math skills (geometry, tolerances)
 </li>
 <li>
 Able to work independently and meet deadlines
 </li>
 <li>
 Clear communication skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Able to lift 50 lbs.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Preferred
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 AWS/ASME welding code familiarity
 </li>
 <li>
 Faro Arm or portable CMM experience
 </li>
 <li>
 CWI certification
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with tight‑tolerance machined or welded parts
 </li>
 </ul>
