<div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Summary of Responsibilities</b></h2></div>
<p></p><div><ul><li>Project Creation: Creates simple design projects from concept to completion, with the support of the Director of First-Year Experience. Develops and communicates the creative vision for projects. Attends client meetings to understand their design needs and objectives. Ensures consistency and adherence to brand identity across various design projects. Assists in the creation of basic design layouts for print and digital media under supervision. Creates basic digital graphics and images for websites and social media under supervision. Assists in the production of printed materials, such as brochures and posters.</li><li>
Project Development: Reviews work with FYEFP/Enrollment Management team members and incorporates senior designer and client feedback. Works closely with copywriters, photographers, and other creative professionals.</li><li>
Project Management: Manages several simple projects simultaneously with close supervision, ensuring deadlines are met. Limited client interaction; primarily internal communication and taking instructions from supervisors. Monitors project progress and addresses issues or concerns that arise with the Director of First-Year Experience.</li><li>
Participates in training sessions to enhance skills in design software, techniques, and institutional branding. Adheres to established brand guidelines. Limited role in brand evolution. Explore emerging technologies and trends to keep designs fresh and relevant.</li><li>

<div><p>Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related discipline, and one year of experience in managing a portfolio of creative projects; OR any combination of education and experience totaling five years.<br>

<b>Preferred Qualifications:</b><br>
Spanish or multi-lingual proficiency preferred.</p></div>

In this role, you will lead and supervise a student marketing team, serving as project manager to plan, develop, and execute marketing campaigns that promote tutoring services and events. Responsibilities include designing print and digital materials, creating engaging social media content, and maintaining a consistent online presence that connects with students and highlights available academic resources.</p><p>

By overseeing campaigns and analyzing performance data, you will help shape the department&rsquo;s outreach strategy, ensure students are aware of available resources, and make a meaningful impact on student success. <p></p><div><ul><li>Supervises and evaluates the overall operation and staff of the marketing team. Leads efforts in brainstorming, planning, and scheduling posts for social media channels. Reviews, analyzes, and reports on social media outcomes to optimize approach.</li><li>
Leads in the design of promotional materials, including brochures, posters, ad copy, and web content. Writes and edits press releases for all Academic Tutoring events and announcements. Enforces campus style and graphics throughout department marketing and promotional items.</li><li>
Attends department events and represents the department in a professional manner. In collaboration with the department's web developer, assists in the creation and maintenance of websites and conference proceedings.</li><li>
Works closely with department staff and other university entities to build audiences in support of Academic Tutoring. Fosters collaboration with other communication specialists to stay up-to-date on University Marketing best practices.</li><li>
