Ideally the candidate needs to be well-versed in accounting concepts, be self- driven and good with communication in English. The role focuses on ensuring a seamless process &ndash; from Vendor Invoice booking till payments, Employee Reimbursements, and accounting thereof in ERP.</p><p>
Ideally the candidate needs to be well-versed in accounting concepts, be self- driven and with good communication in English, both verbal and written as most of the projects under this business unit are for US based clients.</p><p>
 <b>Essential Functions and Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>
Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.</li><li>
Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances</li><li>
Maintaining historical records</li><li>
Paying employees by verifying expense reports and preparing pay checks</li><li>
Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance</li><li>
Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports</li><li>
Continuing to improve the payment process</li><li>
Producing monthly financial and management reports</li><li>
Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries</li><li>
Assisting in general financial management and analysis</li></ul><p><b>
 Requirements</b></p><ul><li>
1-2 years of proven work experience in accounting processes</li><li>
Strong knowledge of accounting concepts, and good hold on language</li><li>
Hands-on experience with processes that involve accounting</li><li>
Hands-on experience with use of spreadsheets, MS-Excel.</li><li>
Experience working in a project-based service industry is a plus</li></ul><p>

 <b>Education</b></p><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s or master&rsquo;s degree in commerce or business administration</li><li>
Any added certification either in accounting, management is a plus</li><li>
Equivalent academic and work experience can be considered.</li></ul><p><b>
