We value hard work and acknowledge internal talent.Job Summary: Controller primarily responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, and supporting strategic financial initiatives.Duties include but not limited to :<ul><li>Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes</li><li>Maintain and improve accounting systems, policies, and procedures. Review the planning process and suggest improvements to current methods.</li><li>Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP (or applicable standards)</li><li>Analyze financial results and provide insights to senior leadership</li><li>Coordinate and support external audits and tax filings</li><li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations</li><li>Monitor and enforce accounting policies and procedures</li><li>Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff</li><li>Manage workload distribution and performance evaluations</li><li>Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts</li><li>Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis</li><li>Support strategic financial planning initiatives</li></ul>Job Qualifications:<ul><li>5+ years of experience in financial management required.</li><li>In depth knowledge of financial law and risk management practices.</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting, Finance or related field</li><li>Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a must.</li><li>Proficient in database and accounting computer application systems.</li><li>Experinece in Logistics industry is prefered.</li><li>Strategic thinking and planning abilities to guide the company financial strategy, aligning it with business objectives and market conditions.</li></ul>Pay: From $90,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
