Job Summary: Controller primarily responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, and supporting strategic financial initiatives.

Duties include but not limited to :

• Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Maintain and improve accounting systems, policies, and procedures. Review the planning process and suggest improvements to current methods.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP (or applicable standards)
• Analyze financial results and provide insights to senior leadership
• Coordinate and support external audits and tax filings
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Monitor and enforce accounting policies and procedures
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff
• Manage workload distribution and performance evaluations
• Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts
• Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis
• Support strategic financial planning initiatives

Job Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in financial management required.
• In depth knowledge of financial law and risk management practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a must.
• Proficient in database and accounting computer application systems.
• Experinece in Logistics industry is prefered.
• Strategic thinking and planning abilities to guide the company financial strategy, aligning it with business objectives and market conditions.

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
