Job SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team! Join us to be part of a team committed to excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement!Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare and record journal entries, ensuring accuracy in debits &amp; credits and adherence to accounting standards.</li><li>Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to verify data integrity across the general ledger.</li><li>Manage accounts payable and receivable processes using various financial software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or PeopleSoft.</li><li>Perform month-end closing activities, including general ledger reconciliation and financial statement preparation.</li><li>Support internal controls by assisting with SOX compliance procedures and documentation.</li><li>Utilize Excel data analysis skills for reporting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.</li><li>Handle confidential information with utmost discretion while maintaining data entry accuracy and timeliness.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with strong knowledge of GAAP and governmental accounting principles.</li><li>Proficiency in accounting systems such as Workday, ADP, Kronos, UltiPro, Ceridian, or similar platforms.</li><li>Familiarity with financial software including Paychex, QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft or equivalent tools.</li><li>Demonstrated ability in technical accounting tasks such as journal entries, account reconciliation, and account analysis.</li><li>Strong numeracy skills coupled with excellent math aptitude and attention to detail.</li><li>Experience with data entry, spreadsheets (Excel), and accounting software for efficient bookkeeping and financial reporting.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams and supporting customer service functions related to accounts management.</li></ul>Join our team as a Staff Accountant if you&rsquo;re passionate about leveraging your accounting expertise to make a meaningful impact!
