<ul><li>Valkyrie Enterprises is seeking a technically exceptional, mission‑focused leader to serve as <b>Director of Rapid Innovation Engineering</b>.</li>
<li>This director level role will lead solutions engineering for FNR ecosystem. The role is responsible for FNR's analytical core, engineering rigor, financial modeling architecture, and the technical frameworks that underpin the group&rsquo;s productized solutions and transition pathways.</li>

</ul><div><b>Job Description:</b></div>
<ul><li>The Director of Rapid Innovation Engineering leads the development, operation, and evolution of FNR&rsquo;s analytical core value engine, transition readiness scoring methodology, and the data architecture foundational to the organization&rsquo;s product portfolio.</li>
 <li>This role owns financial forecasting models, pricing strategies, valuation tools, modeling and simulation frameworks, and the contractual structures through which FNR products are delivered to government customers.</li>
<li>Responsibilities include leading value engineering, ROI and transition probability analysis, technical due diligence on candidate technologies, and establishing the engineering defensibility necessary for proposal, acquisition, and audit contexts.</li>
<li>The role works in tight partnership with the Director of Rapid Innovation Strategy to ensure synchronized strategy‑engineering integration across all FNR‑engineered solutions and leads the build‑out of FNR&rsquo;s engineering and analytics function as the organization scales.</li>
</ul><div><b>Qualifications:</b></div>
<ul><li>Must have a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in mathematics, engineering, statistics, or a related quantitative field and at least 12 years of experience in defense engineering, program analysis, quantitative modeling, or related mission‑aligned technical disciplines.</li>
<li>Must have experience designing and operating analytical scoring frameworks, transition readiness methodologies, or comparable productized engineering systems.</li>
<li>Must have a proven track record in defense pricing, cost strategy, and financial modeling for federal pursuits; and strong technical competence across modeling, simulation, and evaluative methodologies.</li>
</ul><div><b>Desired Qualifications:</b></div>
<ul><li>Preferred experience includes a Master of Business Administration or a graduate degree in applied mathematics, engineering, or statistics; a doctoral degree in research, evaluation, analytics, or quantitative methodology; and senior leadership or co‑founder experience within a defense technology venture.</li>
<li>Additional preferred experience includes work within the DoW Test &amp; Evaluation enterprise, JT&amp;E programs, or comparable environments requiring engineering rigor.</li>
<li>Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar program leadership credentials; and direct experience with rapid‑fielding acquisition mechanisms such as OTAs, Cooperative Agreements, BAAs, QRTC/CTEIP, or SBIR Phase III, preferred.</li>

   Perform corrosion control and preservation on Naval Vessels in tanks, compartments and hulls utilizing specialized coating applications.
  </li>

   Prepare all types of surfaces for preservation.
  </li>
  <li>
   Complete work within the requirements of NAVSEA Standards.
  </li>
  <li>
   Remove old paint and debris from all types of substrates by scraping, chipping, and sanding.
  </li>
  <li>
   Apply coatings in accordance with specifications and good marine practice.
  </li>
  <li>
   Brush and Roll painting to pass all inspection processes.
  </li>
  <li>
   Perform Confined Space Attendant duties to include establishing a communication system with entrants, know potential hazards faced during entry, watch for behavioral effects such as heat exhaustion or disorientation, keep an accurate count and list of names of personnel working in the space.

   Must be able to work under general supervision and perform standard work that is dependent on the corrosion control, and confined space duties.

<ul><li>Prepare and review complex monthly invoices according to company guidelines utilizing financial reports to ensure compliance with deliverable deadlines for federal government contract types of Cost Type, Time &amp; Material (T&amp;M) and Firm Fixed Price (FFP) with CLIN/SLIN/ACRN structure.</li>
<li>Interact with customers gathering support data to ensure invoice accuracy and work through specific billing discrepancies.</li>
<li>Manage the preparation of invoices and complete reconciliation of billing with accounts receivables.</li>
