Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of automotive systems. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse machinery and utilize your technical skills to keep equipment in top condition.Job Requirements:<ul><li>Must have a Valid driver&rsquo;s license.</li><li>Previous automotive repair and maintenance experience required.</li><li>Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.</li><li>Ability and desire to constantly learn and improve mechanical skills.</li><li>Certification or desire to obtain certification in all ASE standards.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills.</li><li>Team player.</li><li>Computer literate.</li><li>Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Must have equipment and tools to perform all mechanical repair.</li><li>State Inspection License Preferred but not required.</li></ul>Duties will include:<ul><li>Perform basic vehicle diagnostics to properly identify required repairs.</li><li>Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.</li><li>Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.</li><li>Install batteries and check electrical systems.</li><li>Perform tire maintenance.</li><li>Install parts and recommend fixes.</li><li>Road test vehicles</li><li>Repairs to body panels, minor body work may be required.</li><li>On site and off-site jobs.</li><li>Maintaining proper safety standards and adhering to state laws and requirements.</li><li>Maintain and clean garage equipment, garage area, and tools to ensure they are kept in a safe and usable condition at all times</li><li>Maintain and keep customers vehicles clean and tidy while in our care by using proper protection. i.e. steering wheel cover, seat covers and floor mats.</li></ul>Equal Opportunity EmployerJob Type: Full-timePay: $15.00 - $48.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
