</p><p><b>JOB OVERVIEW: </b>The Clinical Informatics Specialist (CIS) provides direct end-user support to clinicians in their use of clinical information systems. The scope of support includes all members of the interdisciplinary care team with a primary focus on clinicians. The CIS role is essential to the success of clinicians' use of the electronic health record (EHR), facilitating optimal use to improve patient care delivery.</p>
<p>
Clinical support activity includes customizing/creating content within the EHR, working as a liaison with operational leaders, and delivering training, enhancement education, coaching, customer service and problem solving.</p>
