Vanco is looking for a dynamic Billing Analyst to join our Finance team! 
In this role, you will own key billing and accounts receivable operations for multiple entities within Vanco and work to identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in implementing solutions to resolve process inefficiencies, issues, and risks.
What you&rsquo;ll be doing:<ul><li>
Perform day-to-day billing functions for multiple entities. This includes managing customer contracts, revenue recognition templates, billing schedules, and preparing and issuing invoices, with a high degree of accuracy.</li><li>
Follow-up with customers on any questions or discrepancies related to invoicing by working with Client Success or Sales team members to resolve any issues or adjustments.</li><li>
Manage accounts receivable aging and maintain within company targets by following-up with any customers with past due balances.</li><li>
Assist in reconciliation of customer related balance sheet accounts at month-end.</li><li>
Assist the Cash Management team with daily client funding and receipts related to processing services.</li><li>
Translate and analyze data into reports and provide key billing and revenue reports to management.</li><li>
Update check registers/reconcile bank accounts and record activity in the accounting system on a daily basis.</li><li>
Assist other Finance team members in process improvements, risk mitigation, and ad-hoc projects. Aid in the conversion of newly acquired entities into existing applications and processes.</li><li>
Support and respond to any audit and tax requests as needed throughout the year.</li><li>
Coordinate accounting and finance matters (e.g. contract renewals, termed customers, reports, etc.) with other departments and offices.</li><li>
Support the integration of acquired entities by assisting in the integration of customer contracts integration into the accounting and customer relationship management systems.</li><li>
Assist with ad-hoc projects as requested.</li></ul> 
Who you are:<ul><li>BS/ BA in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred.</li><li>The required skills, knowledge and abilities are typically acquired through a minimum of 2 years of billing experience.</li><li>Solid understanding of GAAP and accrual accounting.</li><li>Experience with mid-to-large accounting software applications (e.g. Intacct, NetSuite, Dynamics, Oracle, etc.).</li><li>Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software applications.</li><li>Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); familiarity with databases and SQL is an asset.</li><li>Strong written/verbal communications skills including experience dealing directly with customers.</li><li>Self-motivated, excellent work ethic, problem solver, highly accountable, and detail-oriented.</li><li>Intellectual curiosity with a desire to improve processes and take on additional responsibilities.</li></ul>

The annual starting base pay for this position typically starts between $50,000-70,000. Placement within the range is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: knowledge, skills, years &amp; depth of experience, location, and equity with internal team members. Total compensation for this position includes quarterly commissions.

Comfortable serving as a point of contact for clients, providing responsive, solutions-focused support
