About us: Building the API and engine behind a platform used by merchants and payers. We need a backend leader to design secure payment flows and scale transaction systems.What you&rsquo;ll do<ul><li>Design &amp; build core APIs for payers and merchant reconciliation.</li><li>Integrate payment gateways and implement secure payment flows &amp; idempotency.</li><li>Implement webhooks and plugin endpoints for WordPress/Shopify/WooCommerce/Salla/Zid integrations.</li><li>Ensure high reliability, observability, monitoring, and data integrity in payments.</li><li>Mentor junior engineers and lead code reviews.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>5+ years backend engineering; 3+ years Node.js with TypeScript (or equivalent in Go + TypeScript).</li><li>Strong experience integrating multiple payment gateways and handling PCI-sensitive flows.</li><li>Solid knowledge of database design (Postgres), transactions, and scaling patterns.</li><li>Experience implementing webhooks, retry logic, idempotency, and reconciliation.</li><li>Familiar with containerization and modern CI/CD pipelines.</li></ul>Nice-to-have<ul><li>Experience with financial compliance, KYC flows, or settlements.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have strong experience integrating multiple payment gateways and handling PCI-sensitive flows?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>backend engineering: 5 years (Required)</li><li>Node.js: 3 years (Required)</li></ul>
