We are looking for someone who is proactive, dependable, and ready to contribute to the day-to-day movement of insurance defense workers&rsquo; compensation cases. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, communicating professionally, and keeping case files accurate and on track.Responsibilities<ul><li>Maintain organized case files and ensure all documents are accurately filed and accessible.</li><li>Update case management systems with status, deadlines, and key case details.</li><li>Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, pleadings, and other documents.</li><li>Copy, scan, print, and file documents with accuracy and attention to detail.</li><li>Schedule attorney appointments and maintain accurate calendar entries.</li><li>Request and obtain medical records and bills from providers.</li><li>Assist with discovery preparation and responses.</li><li>Process cost bills and prepare check requests as needed.</li><li>Support attorneys and case staff with day-to-day case progression.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>Previous legal support experience preferred.</li><li>Strong organizational and multitasking skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Familiarity with legal terminology, document handling, and Microsoft Office.</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.</li><li>Experience supporting litigation processes from document review to case preparation.</li><li>Experience with case management systems such has ProLaw and iManage is a plus</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From $18.50 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
