Summary
At Alila Ventana Big Sur, we believe wellness is a transformative journey inspired by nature, mindfulness, and connection. As an Aesthetician, you will deliver exceptional, personalized skincare and body treatments that embody the serenity and sophistication of our Forbes Four-Star resort. This role requires a passion for holistic wellness, refined service standards, and the ability to create deeply restorative guest experiences in alignment with the Alila brand philosophy.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Perform customized facials, body treatments, and advanced skincare services in accordance with spa protocols and California state regulations</li><li>
Conduct thorough skin analyses and recommend appropriate treatments and home-care regimens</li><li>
Provide waxing and other aesthetic services as permitted by licensure</li><li>
Maintain treatment rooms to luxury resort standards of cleanliness, organization, and ambiance</li><li>
Uphold Forbes, AAA, and Alila service standards through warm, intuitive, and anticipatory guest service</li><li>
Educate guests on product lines and promote retail sales in a genuine, consultative manner</li><li>
Support overall spa operations including inventory management, laundry assistance, and daily opening/closing procedures</li><li>
Collaborate with the spa and wellness team to create seamless, memorable guest journeys</li><li>
Maintain active California Esthetician license and comply with all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines</li></ul> 
SHIFT: 9:30am - 5:30pm - Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays.<div>
Compensation &amp; Benefits 
<ul><li>Hourly Rate: $16.90per hour plus tips and a generous service charge. Total hourly earnings are dependent on resort occupancy and business levels.</li><li>Full-time position with eligibility for Hyatt&rsquo;s comprehensive benefits, including complimentary hotel stays, wellness programs, tuition reimbursement, paid parental leave, and more</li><li>Alila Ventana Big Sur Perks: Complimentary daily meals, paid meal breaks, gas stipend for qualified employees, and onsite housing for eligible candidates</li></ul></div>

Qualifications<div><ul><li>
Valid California Esthetician (CMCT) license required</li><li>
Minimum 1&ndash;2 years of experience in a luxury spa, resort, or wellness environment preferred</li><li>
Strong knowledge of skincare ingredients, product lines, and holistic wellness practices</li><li>
Exceptional communication and guest engagement skills</li><li>
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays</li><li>
Professional presence aligned with the Alila brand aesthetic</li></ul></div></div></div>
