QA/QC Engineer

Quality Inspection Assistant (Warehouse Dept)

Major Duties:1.)Carry out repacking, labelling, and preservation of materials to ensure proper identification, storage, and readiness for binning or dispatch to end users.2.)Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in warehouse management systems; retrieve and present data in specified formats (electronic and hard copy) and prepare periodic and ad hoc warehouse reports.3.)Execute all core warehouse operations, including Goods Receipt (GR), Goods Issue (GI), material inspection, binning and stacking, inventory cycle counting, preservation, and housekeeping, in accordance with the Company&rsquo;s approved SOPs and procedures.4.)Ensure proper documentation and system updates for all material movements to maintain inventory accuracy and traceability.5.)Identify, record, and report non-conformities, discrepancies, and damages promptly to all relevant stakeholders, and support corrective and preventive actions.6.)Supervise and coordinate material offloading activities, including containerized shipments, heavy and oversized cargo, and equipment, ensuring strict adherence to safety standards and approved handling procedures.7.)Monitor warehouse conditions and proactively highlight any operational risks, safety concerns, or process gaps to warehouse management.8.)Liaise with internal stakeholders across departments to obtain necessary information and ensure timely and accurate processing of warehouse transactions and requirements.9.)Supervise and manage contractor personnel within the warehouse, including monitoring attendance, ensuring compliance with HSE requirements, addressing workforce issues, and reporting performance and incidents to Warehouse Management.10.)Support continuous improvement initiatives, including inventory optimization, process efficiency, and implementation of best warehouse practices.QUALIFICATIONS:1.)Bachelor's degree in science or diploma in engineering, with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in warehouse operations within industries, such as, aluminium smelting, oil &amp; gas, steel, or metal manufacturing.2.)Proficient in computer applications with demonstrated working knowledge of SAP (MM Module), including material transactions, inventory control, and report generation.3.)Solid understanding of warehouse processes and procedures, including goods receipt and issue, material inspection, binning and stacking, inventory control, and the ability to supervise contractor personnel and material handling activities in compliance with Company SOPs and HSE standards.Work Location: In person

Asst. Storeman (Data Entry Operators)

Asst. Material Controller (Warehouse Dept)

Shall be responsible for coordinating and managing inbound and outbound logistics activities, ensuring the timely, compliant, and cost-effective transportation of materials and equipment to and from the Facilities.<ul><li>Plan, supervise, and coordinate daily activities of Heavy Duty Drivers, Forklift Operators, and supporting personnel to ensure uninterrupted operational flow across raw material, finished product, and container movements. </li><li>Prepare, review, and submit all required reports in a timely and accurate manner, including operational status reports, technical reports, and performance summaries to the Internal Transport Coordinator.</li><li>Monitor vehicle and equipment condition, ensuring timely follow-up of preventive and corrective maintenance with workshops, and provide regular status updates to Qatalum stakeholders. </li><li>Utilize IT systems (e.g., SAP, Intranet, and other digital tools) to manage inventory, track container movements, and raise notifications for equipment breakdowns or operational issues.</li><li>Supervise personnel performance, conduct regular evaluations, and provide coaching, guidance, and corrective actions where necessary to maintain high performance standards.</li><li>Ensure effective coordination with all relevant departments.</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date operational and personnel records, including route logs, inspection reports, fuel usage, timesheets, and attendance records, ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.</li><li>Enforce strict adherence to HSE, security policies, and SOPs, promoting a strong safety culture across all activities.</li><li>Lead incident reporting, preliminary investigations, and corrective action follow-ups in coordination with relevant department.departments.</li><li>Provide operational support when required, including assisting in container inspections, documentation, and verification activities.</li><li>Ensure effective communication across shifts and maintain proper handover practices to guarantee continuity of operations.</li><li>Perform any additional duties assigned by the Company to support the efficient and effective execution of operations.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline, or a Diploma with relevant experience.</li><li>Minimum of five (5) years of experience in logistics, transport operations, or warehouse management within heavy industries such as aluminium smelting, oil &amp; gas, steel, or manufacturing, including at least two (2) years in a supervisory role.</li><li>Proven experience in supervising multi-disciplinary teams, including drivers, forklift operators, and warehouse personnel, within a 24/7 operational environment.</li><li>Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, with working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP (MM Module) for inventory management, reporting, and operational tracking.</li><li>Strong understanding of logistics operations, including transportation planning, fleet coordination, material handling, container management, and inventory control.</li><li>Sound knowledge of HSE regulations, incident reporting, and safe working practices within industrial environments.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage operations across multiple shifts and stakeholders.</li></ul>Work Location: In person
