Role PurposeTo oversee and execute maintenance activities related to Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), ACMV, and fire protection systems across Venture Gulf Engineering facilities. The role ensures compliance with QCDD and other regulatory requirements while maintaining smooth coordination between internal teams, contractors, procurement, and suppliers.Key ResponsibilitiesAreaResponsibilitiesMaintenance Operations<ul><li>Oversee and monitor MEP and fire protection system maintenance activities across all assigned sites.</li><li>Inspect systems and equipment to identify faults, propose corrective actions, and verify proper rectification of issues.</li></ul>Technical Reporting &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Prepare inspection reports and maintenance compliance documents after each visit, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.</li><li>Maintain proper records aligned with QCDD and internal requirements.</li></ul>Coordination &amp; Communication<ul><li>Liaise with procurement on pending PRs, supplier coordination, and delivery of required materials.</li><li>Coordinate with Civil Engineers for works requiring multiple discipline involvement.</li><li>Continuously follow up with VGE supervisors for daily and urgent maintenance tasks.</li></ul>Client &amp; Management Interface<ul><li>Act as a point of contact for technical follow-ups with clients regarding maintenance tasks and system performance.</li><li>Provide professional updates on job status and client concerns.</li></ul>Performance Reporting<ul><li>Develop monthly performance reports including summary of completed tasks, pending works, justifications for delays, and recommendations for improvement.</li><li>Present monitoring data for managerial meetings.</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Standards<ul><li>Ensure all activities adhere to QCDD, industry standards, and company safety procedures.</li><li>Support readiness for statutory inspections and audits.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or MEP Engineering</li><li>Minimum 2&ndash;3 years relevant experience in building or facility maintenance (MEP focus)</li><li>Knowledge of ACMV and fire protection systems</li><li>Familiarity with QCDD guidelines and maintenance compliance procedures</li><li>Good command of email communication, reporting, and MS Office</li><li>Strong coordination, planning, and follow-up skills</li><li>Valid Qatar driving license (required)</li><li>Must be available to join immediately</li></ul>Personal Attributes<ul><li>Professional and proactive communication skills</li><li>Strong problem-solving mindset</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines</li><li>Team-oriented with leadership potential</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person

MEP Maintenance Engineer

ResponsibilitiesSupervision responsibilities<ul><li>Managing the fleet of vehicles: Must ensure that the organization's fleet of vehicles is properly maintained and that all vehicles are available and ready for use. This involves scheduling regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs to minimize downtime and maximize vehicle utilization.</li><li>Managing yard and transport personnel: Responsible for managing yard and transport staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. They must ensure that their team is well-trained, motivated, and equipped with the necessary tools to carry out their duties effectively .</li></ul>Administration responsibilities<ul><li>Planning and organizing transportation operations: Responsible for creating and implementing transportation strategies that ensure the timely delivery of goods and services. This includes determining transportation modes, routes, and schedules, as well as coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations.</li><li>Maintaining records and documentation: Responsible for maintaining accurate records and documentation related to transportation and yard operations. This includes tracking shipments, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date and in compliance with relevant regulations.</li><li>Managing yard and transport costs: Must manage yard &amp; transport cost to ensure that they are with the organizations budget. This involves negotiating contracts with suppliers, optimizing shipping routes and identifying cost saving opportunities.</li><li>Plays a critical role in ensuring that yard and transportation operations run smoothly and efficiently, ultimately contributing to the success of the organization.</li></ul>Technical responsibilities<ul><li>Managing yard operations: Responsible for managing the organization&rsquo;s yard operations, including the receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods. This involves overseeing loading and unloading operations, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition.</li><li>Ensuring compliance with regulations: Must ensure that all yard &amp; transportation operations are following relevant regulations, such as those related to transportation, hazardous materials. They must also ensure that all staff are trained and aware of relevant regulations .</li><li>A degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.</li><li>Experience in transportation or logistics management, ideally in a leadership role.</li><li>Proficiency in using logistics and inventory management software.</li><li>Familiarity with various types of vehicles and equipment used in transportation and yard operations.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time

Logistic Coordinator (Logistics)

ResponsibilitiesTechnical responsibilities<ul><li>Ensuring compliance with the safety standards and transportation department SOPs.</li><li>The trailer driver shall ensure that the trailer that he is working with function correctly, properly maintained and that all maintenance activities are properly documented before commencing each shift, the trailer driver must perform the relevant checks to ensure that equipment is safe to continue the operation.</li><li>Inspect chains, slings, ropes, cables, hooks and lifting gear for flaws and damage such as cracks, wear, corrosion, and report defects.</li><li>When loading finished, check security and balance of the loads on the trailers flat bed and verify the function of the trailers brakes before starting the trip.</li><li>When lifting a load, ensure it is well secured and the brakes function of the lifting equipment is working properly.</li><li>With Third party Training certificate in Safe Driving.</li><li>Must hold a Qatar Driving License and certificate of competence and previous experience in Oil &amp; Gas / Logistic / Transportation sectors</li><li>Follow signals from assigned signalman when maneuvering the trailer into loading / offloading areas.</li></ul>General responsibilities<ul><li>Ensure that working area is clear of any unforeseen potential hazards before starting the trip.</li><li>Ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods.</li><li>Immediately stop the trailer if it became unsafe to continue the trip.</li><li>Keep all involved persons in the working area fully aware of the loading / unloading activity.</li><li>Must have minimum secondary level of education.</li><li>Knowledge of hazards and safety precautions in the Safe Driving</li><li>Age between 30 and 45 years old</li><li>Able to speaks and writes in English.</li><li>Physically fit with good hearing and eyesight.
