Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Property Accountant to join our team and play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations of our third-party portfolio of commercial real estate portfolio. Join us to contribute to our growth and success while advancing your career in commercial property accounting.Responsibilities<ul><li>General accounting duties, including account reconciliation, debits and credits, and double-entry bookkeeping</li><li>Review and manage accounts payable and receivable</li><li>Prepare monthly financial statement and year-end CAM reconciliations</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Yardi Voyager</li><li>Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements</li><li>Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and variances</li><li>Collaborate with property managers to review and analyze property financials</li><li>Assist in the implementation of accounting policies and procedures</li><li>Provide support during the annual budgeting process</li><li>Display high levels of internal and external customer service by responding to requests from other team members, and clients in a timely manner</li><li>Review and enter data from leases to Yardi Voyager</li><li>Collect, review and request insurance documentation from clients and track the expiration of that documentation</li></ul>Job requirements<ul><li>Great attitude</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work with computer applications, including Excel, Word &amp; Yardi Voyager and Elevate</li><li>Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures</li><li>Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting</li><li>Experience with CAM reconciliations</li><li>Experience in commercial real estate</li><li>Experience with budgeting and forecasting</li></ul>Nice to have<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field desired</li><li>Real estate license in CA, OR and/or WA a plus</li></ul>This role is a hybrid of in-person and remote work.
