Position - Mid level ServiceNow DeveloperLocation - Baltimore MDUS Citizen/GC or at least 3 years continuous stay in USServiceNow development experience, strong technical leadership, and a proven ability to support federal clients while maintaining required certifications and eligibility for a Public Trust clearance. This position requires full-time, on-site support (5 days per week).Primary Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide development support for ServiceNow projects and enhancements.</li><li>Develop process workflows and automation strategies.</li><li>Collaborate with the team in architecture design development and reviews.</li><li>Lead the development of solution artifacts, such as road maps, optimization of operations, architecture and/or block diagrams with a view outside of User Story requirements.</li><li>Create and maintain Forms, Reports, Views, Workflows, Groups, and Roles</li><li>Create, maintain, and enhance Dashboards and reporting, including scheduled reports</li><li>Assist with the design, creation, and cataloging of business process flows</li><li>Work with other members of the ServiceNow development team to propose solutions based on business needs and strategies</li><li>Developing, configuring, and customizing the ServiceNow platform to fit business requirements</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve problems</li><li>Follow, maintain, and apply documentation best practice policies, procedures, and processes throughout ServiceNow development</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input to support ongoing business needs for ServiceNow configuration, implementation, and support</li><li>Review and apply any additional UI/UX requirements from the external and internal teams, and align with ServiceNow development</li><li>Utilizes available programming methodologies and languages and adheres to coding standards, procedures, and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation</li><li>Design and implement solutions following established Configuration Management policies and standards</li><li>Willingness to further grow and enhance skill set from more senior developers throughout each project</li></ul>Required QualificationsEducation:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a technical field such as System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or</li><li>1 year of professional experience with a related Master&rsquo;s degree.</li><li>7+ years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.</li></ul>Certifications (Must hold the following certifications):<ul><li>ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)</li><li>ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)</li><li>At least 2 ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications, showcasing deep expertise in multiple ServiceNow areas such as ITSM, ITOM (HAM and SAM), Discovery, Service Mapping, CSM, SPM, or APM</li><li>Team members are also expected to uphold and maintain appropriate certifications for their practice expertise</li></ul>ServiceNow Expertise:<ul><li>Minimum: At least 3+ years of experience with technical discussions and reviews.</li><li>At least 5+ years of ServiceNow development</li><li>3+ years of experience with developing ServiceNow solutions across various platform applications, such as ITSM, ITOM (HAM and SAM), ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, HR</li><li>3+ years of Industry experience (e.g. Financial Services, Healthcare, High Tech, Manufacturing, Retail, etc.)</li><li>2+ years of technical leadership experience driving change/solutions.</li><li>Experience with commonly integrated third-party technologies</li><li>Excellent understanding of system architecture, design principles, and impacts</li><li>Experience supporting IT-related data integrity (CMDB, HAM, SAM, etc.)</li><li>Experience with ServiceNow upgrades</li></ul>Advanced Development Skills:<ul><li>Expertise in ServiceNow Development APIs for building custom solutions.</li><li>Experience with implementing Java scripting to support automation across the various modules in ServiceNow</li><li>Experience with REST and SOAP web service protocols</li><li>Experience with Business Rules, Workflow, Identification Rules, Workspaces, and External Portals</li><li>Knowledge of SAML, Active Directory, or LDAP</li><li>Specialized ServiceNow Developer Certifications, including ITSM, HAM, SAM, ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, TRM/APM, or HR</li><li>Project Management or Agile certification</li><li>ITILv4 Foundations Certification</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $51.50 - $55.11 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekExperience:<ul><li>ServiceNow : 5 years (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>ServiceNow Certification (Required)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Baltimore, MD 21244 (Required)</li></ul>Security clearance:<ul><li>Confidential (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Baltimore, MD 21244: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
