Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.Duties<ul><li>Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashers or by hand as needed.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas by regularly cleaning countertops, floors, and equipment.</li><li>Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.</li><li>Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes and utensils during peak service times.</li><li>Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain health and safety standards.</li><li>Participate in the overall cleanliness of the restaurant by disposing of trash and recycling appropriately.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.</li><li>Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.</li><li>Experience in bussing tables, food preparation, or catering is advantageous.</li><li>Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.</li><li>Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.</li><li>A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to culinary operations.</li><li>Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
