Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. Duties
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashers or by hand as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas by regularly cleaning countertops, floors, and equipment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes and utensils during peak service times.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain health and safety standards.
- Participate in the overall cleanliness of the restaurant by disposing of trash and recycling appropriately.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
- Experience in bussing tables, food preparation, or catering is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
