Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and possess the skills necessary to create a nurturing and effective learning environment. This role involves educating young children, ages 8 weeks to 5 years. The candidate must be able to manage classroom dynamics, and implement engaging lesson plans that foster the nurturing principals of early childhood education.Duties<ul><li>Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.</li><li>Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.</li><li>Utilize various teaching methods, including Montessori and early intervention strategies, to meet the diverse needs of students.</li><li>Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.</li><li>Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere.</li><li>Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to support student development.</li><li>Stay informed about best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Associate&rsquo;s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.</li><li>Experience working with children in childcare or educational settings is highly desirable.</li><li>Knowledge of special education practices and early intervention techniques is a plus.</li><li>Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage students effectively.</li><li>Familiarity with literacy education strategies and resources.</li><li>EDU 119 is required or current enrollment in EDU 119</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with students, parents, and colleagues.</li><li>A genuine passion for educating young children and fostering their development.</li></ul>Join our team of dedicated educators committed to making a difference in the lives of children in a loving Christian environment!Job Type: Full-timePay: $26,000.00 - $38,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li></ul>Work Location: In person
