As a Clinical Services Coordinator, you will use your clinical knowledge and medical record review skills to determine whether donors are eligible for eye donation.This is a great opportunity for EMTs, ER technicians, paramedics, and other clinical professionals who are skilled in medical terminology, patient histories, and critical thinking.What You&rsquo;ll Do&middot; Review hospital medical records, lab results, and clinical information to determine donor eligibility&middot; Apply medical screening criteria and regulatory standards to donor cases&middot; Communicate with hospital staff, coroners/medical examiners, and funeral homes to obtain information&middot; Document eligibility decisions accurately in the electronic donor record system&middot; Collaborate with the clinical staff during the donation process&middot; Maintain confidentiality and regulatory complianceWhy EMTs &amp; ER Techs Excel in This RoleThis role is a strong fit for professionals who already have experience with:&middot; Medical terminology&middot; Reviewing patient charts and clinical documentation&middot; Working in fast-paced environments&middot; Communicating with healthcare professionals&middot; Applying critical thinking to clinical informationRequired:Clinical patient care experience such as:&middot; Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)&middot; ER Technician / ED Tech&middot; Paramedic&middot; Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)&middot; Patient Care Technician (PCT)&middot; LPN or similar healthcare roleMinimum 2 years of healthcare or patient care experience&middot; Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills&middot; Excellent written and verbal communication&middot; Comfortable reviewing medical records and clinical documentationPreferred:&middot; Emergency department or pre-hospital experience&middot; Experience reviewing medical records&middot; Organ, tissue, or eye donation experienceBenefits:&middot; Health, dental, and vision insurance&middot; Paid time off&middot; Retirement plan&middot; Mission-driven work helping restore sightMake an ImpactEvery donor evaluated helps provide the gift of sight to someone in need.
