Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. You will be mostly working night shift and some morning. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional service to our customers. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere in our caf&eacute; while ensuring that all food safety and handling standards are met. This job is very part time, 25-30 hours every 2 weeks!Duties<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes.</li><li>Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions accurately using POS systems, including Aloha POS.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the caf&eacute; area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.</li><li>Assist with food preparation and ensure compliance with food safety standards.</li><li>Engage with customers to provide recommendations and answer questions about menu items.</li><li>Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies; report shortages as needed.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous experience in a caf&eacute; , boba shop or retail environment is preferred but not required.</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is advantageous.</li><li>Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash flow.</li><li>Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is a plus.</li><li>A passion for coffee culture and an eagerness to learn about different brewing techniques.</li><li>Must be available to working shifts, night shifts and weekends.</li><li>Over 16 years old</li></ul>Job Types: Part-time, SeasonalPay: From $19.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Work Location: In person
