Boba Barista

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. You will be mostly working night shift and some morning. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional service to our customers. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere in our café while ensuring that all food safety and handling standards are met. If you have a love for bubble tea and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. This job is very part time, 25-30 hours every 2 weeks!

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes.
• Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions accurately using POS systems, including Aloha POS.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
• Assist with food preparation and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Engage with customers to provide recommendations and answer questions about menu items.
• Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies; report shortages as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.

Experience

• Previous experience in a café , boba shop or retail environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is advantageous.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash flow.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is a plus.
• A passion for coffee culture and an eagerness to learn about different brewing techniques.
• Must be available to working shifts, night shifts and weekends.
• Over 16 years old

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
