Overview We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our legal team. Our firm is primarily focused on plaintiff personal injury work. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and possess strong organizational skills. This position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where you can develop your legal expertise while providing exceptional service to our clients. You will get a chance to try cases to verdict and act as the primary attorney on various types of personal injury cases. There is an opportunity for large performance-based bonuses as well.Duties<ul><li>Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.</li><li>Take depositions.</li><li>Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.</li><li>Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.</li><li>Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, trial, and other legal proceedings as required.</li><li>Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases.</li><li>Maintain detailed case files and documentation.</li><li>Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may affect client cases.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.</li><li>Admission to the Missouri and Kansas state bar associations is required.</li><li>Prior experience in civil litigation is a bonus.</li></ul>We invite qualified candidates who are interested in this position to apply for this exciting opportunity as an Associate Attorney with our firm.Job Type: Full-timePay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
