Associate Attorney

Overview
We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our legal team. Our firm is primarily focused on plaintiff personal injury work. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and possess strong organizational skills. This position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where you can develop your legal expertise while providing exceptional service to our clients. You will get a chance to try cases to verdict and act as the primary attorney on various types of personal injury cases. There is an opportunity for large performance-based bonuses as well.

Duties

• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Take depositions.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, trial, and other legal proceedings as required.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases.
• Maintain detailed case files and documentation.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may affect client cases.

Experience

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Missouri and Kansas state bar associations is required.
• Prior experience in civil litigation is a bonus.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
