Entry Level IT Support (Long Beach)IT Support technician needed for day to day first level support of a general contractor engineering company in Long Beach.Job Summary Job Duties include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Provide first level technical support at the Corporate Office and remote</li></ul>locations.<ul><li>Hardware and software support on desktop computers &amp; laptops, software</li></ul>applications, printers &amp; scanners, uninterruptable power supplies, IP deskphones, mobile phones and related technologies.<ul><li>Installation and testing of computer system and peripherals.</li><li>Employee will also periodically assist in the maintenance and testing of servers,</li></ul>and associated network equipment.<ul><li>Maintain documentations.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned during down time such as data entry, filing,</li></ul>etc.<ul><li>Occasional after-hours and weekend work expected.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Must be highly dependable.</li><li>Possesses excellent customer service and communications skills.</li><li>Possesses an ability to interpret complex technical information for non-technical</li></ul>audiences.<ul><li>Must have experience troubleshooting Windows Operating systems, PC</li></ul>hardware, virus and malware removal, Microsoft Office, smartphones and tablets, have knowledge of basic business network and technology in general.<ul><li>Ability to follow direction, problem-solve and prioritize in a fast-paced</li></ul>environment.<ul><li>A college diploma, or a high school diploma with 2 plus years of related</li></ul>experience, or trade degree in a related field.<ul><li>Computer Science related major and/or programming skills is a plus.</li><li>Able to lift 50lbs.</li><li>Clean driving record.</li></ul>This is a Full time position reporting to the IT Manager and will have responsibility of first line support.Medical/Dental/Vision Benefits PTOPlease submit your resume and cover letter including your salary history.Pay: $21.63 - $26.44 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
