We are seeking a skilled Mitigation Manager with estimating experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential construction insurance estimating and mitigation management, with proficiency in Xactimate software.Responsibilities<ul><li>Analyze project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates</li><li>Utilize software such as Xactimate, Symbility, Encircle, and other construction management tools for estimating purposes</li><li>Control costs by evaluating project scope changes, materials, and labor requirements</li><li>Develop detailed proposals and contracts for construction projects</li><li>Manage multiple estimating projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines</li><li>Lead and oversee day-to-day mitigation projects, ensuring quality work and safety standards are met</li><li>Supervise and train mitigation technicians while managing job schedules and resources</li><li>Prepare detailed estimates and control project costs for insurance and non-insurance jobs</li><li>Communicate effectively with homeowners, insurance adjusters, and vendors to provide updates and resolve issues</li><li>Ensure thorough project documentation, including moisture readings, photos, and daily logs</li><li>Respond to emergency mitigation situations (water, fire, mold, etc.) as needed</li><li>Maintain high-quality service while meeting deadlines and industry standards</li></ul>Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Proficiency in Xactimate, Symbility, Encircle and related estimating software</li><li>Strong knowledge of cost control methods in construction projects</li><li>Ability to interpret project plans and specifications accurately</li><li>Strong analytical skills to assess project requirements and build accurate estimates</li><li>Minimum 3 years of construction estimating experience (Required)</li></ul>Job Type<ul><li>Full-time</li><li>Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Company Fuel Card</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li><li>Company Vehicle</li><li>Phone Reimbursement</li><li>Commission</li><li>Home Office Reimbursement if applicable</li><li>Plus more....</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
