We're looking for a Senior Accountant who is detail-oriented, versatile, and comfortable owning the financial operations of a growing company.The Role You'll report directly to senior leadership and be the go-to person for financial record accuracy, reporting, and process integrity. This role spans daily transaction processing, monthly reporting, payroll, and client support, and requires regular collaboration across the team.What You'll Own<ul><li>Full-cycle bookkeeping and financial record maintenance in QuickBooks Online</li><li>Daily transaction processing and reconciliation across multiple banking platforms</li><li>Monthly payroll processing with HR coordination</li><li>Monthly financial reporting for leadership</li><li>Direct client communication to resolve payment issues and provide billing clarity</li><li>Collaborating cross-functionally with operations, claims, and leadership</li><li>Internal procedure development that supports business growth</li></ul>Tools You&rsquo;ll Use<ul><li>Quickbooks Online (required), proprietary insurance software, Excel, Microsoft Office</li></ul>What We're Looking For<ul><li>3+ years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year in a senior or independent role</li><li>Strong QuickBooks Online proficiency (required)</li><li>Payroll processing experience</li><li>Excel fluency and comfort in Microsoft Office</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage competing priorities independently</li><li>High attention to detail</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred</li></ul>Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Disability insurance</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)</li><li>QuickBooks: 3 years (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Bozeman, MT 59718 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bozeman, MT 59718
