Waivo is the leading provider of damage protection waivers for short-term rental property managers across the U.S. and internationally, based in Bozeman, MT. We're looking for a Senior Accountant who is detail-oriented, versatile, and comfortable owning the financial operations of a growing company.

The Role
You'll report directly to senior leadership and be the go-to person for financial record accuracy, reporting, and process integrity. This role spans daily transaction processing, monthly reporting, payroll, and client support, and requires regular collaboration across the team.

What You'll Own

• Full-cycle bookkeeping and financial record maintenance in QuickBooks Online
• Daily transaction processing and reconciliation across multiple banking platforms
• Monthly payroll processing with HR coordination
• Monthly financial reporting for leadership
• Direct client communication to resolve payment issues and provide billing clarity
• Collaborating cross-functionally with operations, claims, and leadership
• Internal procedure development that supports business growth

Tools You’ll Use

• Quickbooks Online (required), proprietary insurance software, Excel, Microsoft Office

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year in a senior or independent role
• Strong QuickBooks Online proficiency (required)
• Payroll processing experience
• Excel fluency and comfort in Microsoft Office
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage competing priorities independently
• High attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
