Wallingford Adult Education</b> is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic <b>Medical Assistant/CNA
</b><br>
<b>Assistant Instructor</b> to join our adult education team.</p>
<p><b>
Location:</b> Sheehan High School, Wallingford, CT<br>
<b>Schedule:</b> Monday&ndash;Thursday, 5:00pm - 8:30pm<br>
<b>Classes Begin:</b> As needed starting September 1, 2026</p>
<p><b>
Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul><li>Maintain a safe environment at all times, whether in the classroom or clinical site.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assist lead instructor with Skills Demonstration, breakout sessions, practical hands on
</li></ul>procedures such as ECG application, infection control practices, basic patient hygiene.
<ul><li>Accompany the lead instructor and students to local clinical rotation sites, long term
</li></ul>care facilities,
<ul><li>Monitor student and patient interactions, bedside manner, safety</li></ul>
<ul><li>Provide support such as maintaining attendance records, assisting with grading exams,
</li></ul>lab assignments.
<ul><li>Participate in student progress reports and evaluations.</li></ul>
<p><b>
Qualifications:</b></p>
<ul><li>1-3 years&rsquo; recent professional healthcare experience as a Medical Assistant, CNA, and/or
</li></ul>PCT preferred.
<p><b>
Compensation:</b></p>
<ul><li>$16.94 per hour</li></ul>
