With 13 locations and a strong culture built on teamwork, integrity, and long-term relationships, we continue to grow and are looking for the right person to join our team.We are hiring a Purchasing Agent who will work closely with multiple vendors and our sales team to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient purchasing for our branch. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to build a long-term career with a stable, growing company.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Create and manage purchase orders with multiple vendors</li><li>Maintain accurate pricing, stock levels, and product information</li><li>Communicate daily with vendors and internal salespeople</li><li>Monitor inventory, lead times, and backorders</li><li>Assist with product sourcing and vendor coordination</li><li>Support the branch with purchasing needs and problem-solving</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Previous purchasing experience required</li><li>Experience working with multiple vendors and sales teams</li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills</li><li>Ability to multitask and manage priorities</li><li>NetSuite experience is a major plus</li><li>Proficient with computers, spreadsheets, and email</li></ul>Why Work for Walter E.
