The Accounting Assistant - AP/AR performs assigned duties under the direction of Wasatch Rx&rsquo;s Controller. Primary areas of work responsibility include: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Account Reconciliation. This position partners with several departments to support Wasatch Rx&rsquo;s overall business operations.<ul><li>
Hybrid Remote Work Schedule: Following 90 days of employment, newly hired employees are eligible to work remotely Tuesday through Thursday. Required in office days are Monday and Fridays.</li><li>
Job Type: Full Time, 40 hours/week</li><li>
Full Time Schedule Options: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM &ndash; 4:30 PM</li><li>
2 Week Training Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM</li><li>

Hourly Compensation: $25 per hour Depending on Education and Experience</li></ul> 
Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Accounts Receivable</li><li>
Review invoices for shipping accuracy</li><li>
Receive customer receipts (check, ACH, wire)</li><li>
Research and resolve unapplied payments</li><li>
Issue credit memos and refunds</li><li>
Process credit card transactions (as needed)</li><li>
Accounts Payable</li><li>
Reconcile and process vendor payments (pharmacy partnerships)</li><li>
Reconcile and process vendor payments (non-pharmacy)</li><li>
Respond to vendor inquiries, research and correct discrepancies</li><li>
Receive and code credit card expenses</li><li>
W9 vendor management</li><li>
Account Reconciliation</li><li>
Audit credit card expense reporting and record</li><li>
Audit UPS invoices for accuracy</li><li>
Review daily purchase order entry into ERP system</li><li>
Submit Fedex and UPS Claims</li><li>
Other Accounting Projects as Assigned</li></ul>
Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>
2 &ndash; 4 years Accounts Receivable experience required</li><li>
2 &ndash; 4 years Accounts Payable experience required</li><li>
Proficient in accounting software platforms (QuickBooks Online, SAP preferred)</li><li>
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite</li><li>
Knowledge of accounting and finance principles/processes</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance and/or related field preferred</li><li>
Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry preferred</li></ul>
Physical Requirements:<ul><li>
Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time with or without the use of a sit stand desk</li><li>
Ability to work at a computer station for extended periods of time</li><li>
Ability to answer phones with or without the use of a headset</li><li>
Ability to work on location out of the Sandy, UT Office</li></ul>
