We help businesses manage wastewater with simplicity, reliability, and sustainability.Position Summary We&rsquo;re seeking a detail-oriented and well-organized Purchasing &amp; Inventory Technician to join our operations team. In this key role, you&rsquo;ll ensure the right chemicals, components, and spare parts are always on hand to keep our wastewater treatment systems running smoothly. You&rsquo;ll manage purchasing, maintain accurate inventory records, coordinate with suppliers, and oversee material flow so projects are completed on schedule and to specification.Responsibilities<ul><li>Purchase chemicals, equipment, and spare parts from approved suppliers</li><li>Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies</li><li>Maintain precise records of materials received and distributed using inventory software</li><li>Evaluate supplier performance and help negotiate pricing and delivery timelines</li><li>Adhere to safety protocols for handling and storing materials</li><li>Collaborate with engineering, service, and production teams to forecast supply needs</li><li>Prepare purchase orders, process invoices, and maintain documentation promptly</li><li>Assist with warehouse organization, shipping, and receiving as needed</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Associate degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)</li><li>1&ndash;3 years&rsquo; experience in purchasing, inventory, or warehouse operations, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment</li><li>Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software</li><li>Effective communication skills for working with vendors and internal teams</li><li>Ability to handle and monitor chemical products safely (training provided)</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Competitive compensation and benefits</li><li>Opportunities for professional growth within a well-established, innovative environmental solutions company</li><li>A collaborative, safety-focused workplace committed to sustainability</li><li>Hands-on experience in a specialized field that makes a positive environmental impact</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $21.00 - $23.50 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
